From the Director’s Desk
Dear Parent(s),
I know some of you are curious about what exactly goes on at the
Ardmore Avenue Community Center (Soul Shack).
Let me give you a small glimpse...
Your kids are playing video games. They are doing homework, working on computers, studying for exams and filling out college apps. They’re playing volleyball, and yes…basketball. Your kids are sitting around in groups laughing, talking, snap chatting, and eating. Your kids are in meetings with staff, listening to their favorite music and watching television. Your kids are talking with Ms Crystal and trying not to fall asleep so Mr. Larry doesn’t tie them to the furniture. Your kids are being who they are as individuals. Your kids are being kids, our “Rats”…and we love them! -Linda
